Phen 375 is still one of the most popular appetite suppressant pills on the market today. But, the question is, is it still worthwhile of your consideration? With a so many different competing products on the market these days, does this product deliver your best bang for buck or should you be looking elsewhere?
The company claims that it uses highly refined powerful ingredients that can reduce your food intake and at the same time, increase the body’s metabolism rate for fast weight loss results.
Produced in USA and having sold to over 250,000 customers across the globe, it’s a product that appears to have an established reputation on the market, but what’s the feedback and verdict from users?
Let me first say, that in this in-depth Phen 375 review, I’ll uncover and tell you about the real hard truths about this weight loss product- it’s raw, it’s honest! Be prepared!
How Does Phen 375 Work?
The first thing we need to clear up is the association of Phen 375 to Phentermine- which on the surface, most people would assume the two are somehow tied together.
But although weight loss products could utilize Phentermine during the late 1990’s and early 2000’s for rapid weight loss results, it is actually now a banned from being sold without a doctor’s prescription.
Phen 375 is off course available without a prescription because it doesn’t contain phentermine. Therefore, Phen 375 is not at all related to Phentermine, even if the name gives the illusion that it somehow might!
Phen 375 uses some of the more well known dietary ingredients, along with the usual caffeine inclusion for thermogenic properties to help burn calories.
In a nutshell though, Phen 375 is simply an appetite suppressant that works to stop you from feeling hungry, whilst also increasing the body’s metabolism rate- in order to help you lose weight.
Main Ingredients Review
There are 6 main ingredients that make up this weight loss solution, so let’s have a closer look at these now.
1. L-Carnitine- “Gives your body energy getting stored body fat into the bloodstream”.
From what I can gather, the scientific research is still inconclusive about this and more needs to be done to prove it. In a nutshell, it is used to move fatty acids during the fat breakdown process, so it does make sense why it could work in a diet pill.
2. Caffeine Powder Anhydrous– “Reduces the hunger pangs preventing you to crave food”.
The main ingredient is this has been proven with thermogenic properties that can aid in the burning of fats.
Caffeine that is present inside the body can lead to an increase of epinephrine and norepinephrine- hormones that can instruct the body to use fat as an energy source, thereby burning it away.
3. Coleus Forskolii Root PE (10% Forskolin):“Activates adenylyl cyclase and raises cyclic AMP levels in a wide variety of cell types”.
Coleus Forskolii has been traditionally used to treat a range of medical issues, from asthma, insomnia, angina and even bronchitis. Only in the last 30 years or so has more evidence submerged about its weight loss benefits and science has successfully run several tests to prove of its weight loss assistance and benefits.
For starters, forskolin increases the production of lipase- which has been shown to burn fat in the body. It also increases the production of cyclic adenosine monophosphate, which has been shown to increase ones metabolism rate, thereby allowing the body to burn more calories.
This is the classification of bitter orange and been known and proven to assist with weight loss supplements more recently.
5. Cayenne Pepper:“Increases your body temperature so you can burn more calories”.
The main ingredient in cayenne pepper is capsaicin. Capsaicin is said to promote a thermogenic chemical, which effectively should mean that the body would burn more calories (though speeding up the metabolism) and decreasing appetite too.
There seems to have been limited scientific studies to prove cayenne peppers benefits in terms of assisting with weight loss. A study conducted in 2014 with just 15 participants, all found that they felt fuller longer and didn’t feel like food as often.
More substantive tests need to be undertaken though, to really prove the level of benefit offered by this ingredient.
6. Dendrobium Nobile Extract (from orchids):“Commonly used to improve digestion”.
This ingredient has been used for many centuries by the Chinese, to treat various ailments such as fever, eye problems, diabetes and also to aid with digestion.
Dendrobium contains several chemicals and whilst it has shown to assist with a number of ailments in the past, there is also a risk of seizure. To date, there hasn’t been extensive research to conclude the effects of this on people.
How To Use
Phen 375 is quite simple to use. You need to take one tablet in the morning before your breakfast and the second tablet before your lunch. It’s recommended that you take your tablets with just a glass of water and you want to try and take it about 30 minutes before you have you meals.
There is no credible information that I could find from either the manufacturer or some alternate trustworthy resource that talks about the safety associated with longer term usage, so that’s something you will want to chat about to your doctor- should you decide to use this weight loss remedy.
Do You Need To Change Your Diet Or Exercise?
Interestingly, this point seems to fly under the radar somewhat, but Phen 375 does require you to stick to their strict diet program and exercise routine in conjunction with their tablets, to guarantee weight loss.
There is around 6 different diet/exercise plans for you to follow and they only guarantee results IF you follow one of those programs.
Basically, you will be required to eat around 6 small meals a day and each program sets out all the ingredients that you will need to buy and the day and meal time (breakfast, mid morning etc) that you will have to consume.
The exercise routines are broken up into gender (as are the meal plans) and these are accessible through a video, which walks you through each exercise, so that you know exactly what you will be required to do.
What Sort Of Results Can You Expect?
The results when using Phen375 will likely vary based on the diet you choose from their range of options, how committed you remain to that diet and also how committed you are to their exercise program too.
However, I found this on their website: “On average Phen375 users could expect to lose 5 to 10 pounds per month along with a low calorie diet and low to moderate exercise”. This would equate to around 1.5-2.5 pounds per week on average.
That’s a little slow to what some of the alternatives have to offer, such as the one I used.
Are There Any Common Side Effects You Should Know About?
There are no major common side effects with Phen 375 to report, however, there are some people that have reported experiencing different problems.
A small minority of people have reporting feelings of dizziness, increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, sleeping difficulty and inconsistent stools.
In terms of sleeping difficulty, typically you can try to resolve that problem by taking the second tablet a little earlier in the day- that seems to work for a lot of people.
User Reviews- What’s the General Verdict?
Having sifted through a number of user reviews, the verdict is rather appalling to be honest. I was rather surprised to see that most people are calling this product a ‘scam’, ‘rip off’ and are really frustrated that it did absolutely nothing for them.
Interestingly, there are many people who said that not only did it not suppress their appetite at all, there were a number of people who said that they started putting on weight instead.
With the minority of people that did see and report results, they have strictly adhered to a significant change in their diet and lifestyle choices.
Whether or not the majority of people failed to make as big of a commitment to follow the diet that Phen 375 gives you and exercise routine as the ones that received success, it’s not known. But, the general consensus from a decent and recent sample size seems to indicate disappointment with this product.
There are off course loads of other fake reviews all over the internet that will tell you that Phen 375 is the miracle pill that changed their lives forever! These were rather obvious in the way they were written, so I’m not sure if they are perhaps paid to write that. They have unrealistic claims like “I lost 35 pounds in just 4 weeks and feel so amazing!” Yeah right!
Phen 375 is one of the more expensive alternatives (such as Phen Q or Leptigen) to weight loss. Each bottle only comes with 30 tablets, so for starters, you will need to buy two bottles to get you through the month. A single bottle (at the time of writing this) is $66 USD and postage is another $10. So, for the month, you are looking at around $152.
There are multiple bottle discounts which you can opt for too. If you buy two bottles up front, they give you a third free. That package is nearly $132 + $10 postage. This equates to 1.5 months supply or $47 per bottle, or $95 for the month (including the $10 postage costs).
Note, you will still need to order one more bottle to make up the second month, so this changes the average cost per bottle to around $109 per month (to order the two bottle + 1 bonus and just the 1 bottle deal).
The other option is the buy two months and get one month free. This costs nearly $264 (+ $10 postage) and equates to around $91 per month- which isn’t too bad.
Who Produces Phen 375 And What Do We Know About Their Experience?
The manufacturer of Phen 375 states that the product is produced in the USA at an FDA approved facility, however, when digger deeper, the information just doesn’t seem to be available.
The address given on the ‘contact us’ page is just the distribution center in Dallas Texas, however, when you look up that address on google maps, it seems that: 3636 N. Buckner BLVD
Dallas, Texas, USA 75228, which is a distribution center for potentially any supplier for any product.
Most ‘review’ websites suggest that Phen 375 is produced by a company called RDK Global Pharmaceuticals, with some websites suggesting that they have been around for over a decade and others that suggest around 5 years.
When you try and find any information about RDK Global, you can’t seem to find anything about the company online, from their physical address to anything which confirms they are the manufacturer. It’s all a little suspicious to me.
On the Phen 375 website, you can see a company called Shippitsa ltd that is listed on the footer of their website. When you dig further, that company seems to be located in the UK and not USA.
All in all, I couldn’t find any concrete proof of where this company is located and what sort of experience or reputation it has.
Phen 375 talks about a 60 day money back guarantee, which sounds great on the surface. But, as many people have found out the hard way, if you do want to get a refund, the process is very complicated- in fact it can get so complicated, some people just gave up and kept the product in frustration!
As mentioned above, this product is not just a matter of taking a tablet and getting on with life- it does require a major lifestyle change- from a new diet, to performing some exercises.
If you are unhappy with this product for whatever reason, you will need to convince them that you have stuck to their diet program AND get a doctor to sign off that you haven’t lost weight.
Furthermore, other genuine customers have reported back saying that customer service was rude, unhelpful and in some cases, hard to get a hold of.
Effectively, if you want to try this product, I wouldn’t be making a decision based on the money back guarantee that it is worthwhile trying. From what I’ve gathered, it’s a rather complicated process to get them to honor that promise.
Verdict- Is This A Good Diet Pill Remedy?
As long as you immediately dismiss Phen 375 from being as powerful or similar to Phentermine, Phen 375 can deliver weight loss results, so long as you strictly follow one of their diet and exercise programs.
The average weight loss per month as suggested by the company is not as powerful as some of the other alternatives and coupled with the significant increase in cost of acquisition over other brands, also makes you want to give this diet pill a second thought.
Furthermore, from what real users are saying on open forum websites, the lack of outcome for what the product does, plus the overly complicated refund process (enough to make it too painful to use anyway), was enough to steer me away from trying this product.
I also find it strange that although the website claims that the product is made in the USA, I couldn’t find any credible information about who actually manufactures the product, their level of experience and the environment in which these pills are produced (the website states its a GMP environment- but I can’t tell where that is).
Nevertheless, Phen 375 still seems that its experienced popularity and success and it still may be worth considering- even if I personally wouldn’t have the confidence to do so. I’d prefer to see a product manufactured by a company with more transparency, experience and positive feedback from users too. That’s the reason I stuck with and had success with Phentabz.
